35: Crescent Hotel Horrors

“…when they walked to the bathroom for a glass of water in the middle of the night, they saw two hands coming out of the bathroom mirror, grasping as though looking for something to pull them up. Hands that slipped back into the mirror and then disappeared…”

A quote from today’s first tale – the dark history of Eureka Spring, Arkansas’s Crescent Hotel. A lot of bad things have definitely happened there – did its history lead to it being haunted? Our second story is about Virginia’s Bunny Man legend. Could getting lost in the Virginia Woods lead to an especially terrifying and gruesome death? And Lynze shares some fantastic-as-always fan stories.

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened.  Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH.”
