50: The Amityville Horror

Kathy wakes up with red welts that have formed a trail from just above her pubic hair to just under her breast. They feel hot to the touch. It was like something had slashed and burned her…”

A quote from today’s second story. Our first tale is about the Shadow Man – one man’s tale of a series of intense encounters that lasted for several years of his childhood. Our second story is one of my favorite paranormal events ever – the basis for the book and movie, The Amityville Horror. The story of the Lutz family’s 28 day experience with something evil in a home where the previous family to live there had been murdered by their grown son. And Lynze shares two creepy listener tales.

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened.  Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH.”
