SCARED TO DEATH IS EXPLICIT IN EVERY WAY. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHILE LISTENING.
Dan has a bigger story set in Boise, Idaho. Boise’s Murder House aka the Chop Chop house. This is a somewhat recent true crime story that leads to numerous reported paranormal encounters. Very creepy story. Then, a bit of tragic lore revolving around rural Colorado’s Third Bridge aka Ghost Bridge – and some reports of modern encounters there as well. Lynze switches it up this week with one, big, fat juicy tale. A woman is plagued by visits from the hat man. Her dad was potentially cursed long before she was born. Is there a connection?
New Merch: Releasing in the bad magic store this week are deluxe jumbo bookmarks! These things are super nice, thick and velvety. Each set comes with 6 different bookmarks, designed to resemble the pages of an ancient witch’s text. A perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays! Also now in store, new merch from Casko! I forgot about that random scenario I made up a few weeks ago – a Costco type store that sold caskets and also had random people handing out free snacks. Grab your Casko tee or hoodie to show your support for the world’s leading wholesale casket manufacturer. Head on over to badmagicmerch.com and check em out!
Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation:It’s November and it is our tradition here at bad magic to donate to a veteran cause every November, in honor of Veteran’s Day. This year, we are donation to the United Heroes League who provides free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, skill development camps, and special experiences to military families across the US & Canada. The United Heroes League keeps military kids active and healthy through sports while their parents serve our country. We donated $15,228 to UHL and added another $1,692 to the scholarship fund!
Standup: If you want to see a very different side of Dan than you see here and possibly see Lynze in the crowd, his Symphony of Insanity standup tour will be back this fall. Go to dancummins.tv for ticket links to shows in Louisville, Portland and Minneapolis for 2022! In 2023, catch Dan on his first ever theater tour, Burn It All Down! Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
“Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH.”
